In partnership with the Alaska Eskimo Whaling Commission and the Barrow Whaling Captains Association, AOOS co-hosted a workshop in Utqiaġvik, Alaska to deploy wave buoys in the Beaufort and Chuckchi seas to expand marine safety tools for hunters.
