The Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee’s (IARPC’s) Environmental Intelligence Collaboration Team (EICT), in cooperation with the Alaska Ocean Observing System, has released the “2021 Post Season Report.” This report summarizes the research and observing activities of federally funded scientists and non-federally supported researchers, including including international ships, in the Bering, Chukchi and Beaufort Seas in 2021.
This is not meant to be comprehensive; there were other activities undertaken by state agencies, the private sector, Tribes, and other federal agencies (e.g., activities of the USFWS Tiglax). The activities described in this report were the ones high-lighted during IARPC webinars and the research cruise spreadsheet.
